Silverlon Wound Contact Dressings
Designed for placement directly on the wound surface in direct contact with the
injured tissues. The Silverlon® Wound Contact Dressing provides a topical
antimicrobial surface that reduces the bacteria and fungi counts on the wound
surface and within 2 to 4 millimeters of the wound surface.
The wound dressing can be left in place for several days depending on the
amount of wound drainage and necrotic (dead) tissue present. The dressing also
provides a highly conductive surface that reestablishes the normal skin electrical
potentials.
The Silverlon® Wound Contact Dressing provides an antimicrobial barrier to the
entry of Fungi and Bacteria including MRSA Bacteria, thereby protecting the
wound from outside bacteria and fungi contamination.

Silverlon® Wound Contact Dressings are indicated for local management of first
and second degree burns, incisions, skin grafts, donor sites, lacerations,
abrasions, pressure sores, chronic wounds, chronic ulcers, dermal ulcers, vascular
ulcers, and diabetic ulcers.

wounds with tunneling, undermining or narrow openings.

A sterile, non-woven pad composed of a High M (manuronic acid) alginate and a silver
nylon contact layer. The silver ions provide an antimicrobial barrier which protects the
dressing from bacterial contamination including MRSA Bacteria. The dressing absorbs
exudate, maintains a moist wound environment and allows for intact removal.

sites, traumatic and surgical wounds and 1st and 2nd degree burns. Silverlon™ CA:
Advanced Antimicrobial Calcium Alginate Dressing is indicated for external use only.
